2002 GT won't start, new battery. HELP?!

So my battery froze overnight, as it was -25 here. I just replaced it about 30 minutes ago with a new battery, and it will turn over, but still won't start. I can hear the fuel pump whine when I turn the ignition on, so I think I'm safe with that. I notice a strong gas smell when I'm trying to turn it on though. What is my next course of action to take?
 


Fixed it. Engine was flooded apparently. Pulled fuse for fuel pump, and it started right up (then died obviously) Put fuse back in, and it started up again. Sure did spew out a lot of exhaust from all that fuel though.
