I need help with replacing or re-installing my window regulator cable. I have a 2002 Grand Prix and the back drivers side window cable has come off, I believe. Here is my story.
My window fell down and will not roll up anymore. I pulled the door panel. Everything works for the switch. The cable will move and all the sounds of a working motor are there. The cable is not connected at one end and has a bend in it. So this makes me think this is the problem.
I checked the how to section for replacing the cable and when I found a post saying how to. I would click on the "Click here" area and it would redirect me to an error code. So I could not look at what to do.
Can some one please help me so that I can fix my window? Is there a drawing or schematic of what I should be looking at?
