I got an oil leak and the cause of it is the valve cover gaskets. the problem is that I just replaced them 20 min ago and problem still exists. I don't know if I should have used sealant or not but it's leaking front the front valve cover to the right side of the first fuel injector from the left. what can I do? please help me.

yes but i only did the front cause the back cover isnt as bad as the front. think i should take the cover off again and put some sealant?

Did you clean off all the old oil that has been leaking from the front cover? If not, then every time the car heats up the old oil will turn liquid again and run down. Clean the crap out of the head, LIM and exhaust manifold and then see if you spot any fresh leaks.

And no, I would not use any sealant. These covers are designed to be used w/o sealer.

well good news. its not an oil leak. bad news is that its an intake gasket leaking coolant. noticed it when let my car run at idle for 10 min and saw some liquid spewing out every time the thermostat opens
