2002 Grand Prix GTP Front End Grinding

I have some history on this forum with front end issues on my '02 GTP (citation). I suspect in a past life there may have been a front-end collision that was not reported to me, but I may never know for sure.

As I've recently been getting up the courage to tackle the oil pan gasket replacement, I'm also struggling with a sound I'm not familiar with. It occurs when cornering to the left moderately hard at low speed.

Here (heard around 10s):

I initially suspected a wheel bearing, but those were replaced not too many miles ago (I am not ruling out a failed bearing though). That being said, the wheels did not exhibit wobble with the car jacked up.

Could this be an issue with the power steering pump? It almost sounds like something struggling when the wheels are cornering which would put stress on the pump I imagine, but it only tends to happen when turning the one direction.

before you go dropping the oil pan, clean the pan up good, then remove all the side bolts one by one, clean the threads, then put some pipe thread sealant on the threads and re install the bolt. the side bolts go through the block and oil splashes on the threads, then they seep oil. fixed my oil leak. the end bolts are in sealed threads, so no need to remove them.
