2002 DIC help

I have the digital DIC in my 2002 GT 40th edition and it works sometimes whats wrong with it is it the unit itself or something worse?

Have you tried unplugging it and replugging it back in?

yes it worked for a short time but now every time I use the my heat/ac system it shuts off.

update: when I turn on my heat/ac blower fan from off to anything (1-5) the DIC shuts off completely. any opinion?

Does the blower/fan work normally? Does anything else quit working when the DIC goes out?

The problem with your DIC going out when you turn on the fan switch has to do with your ignition switch. Do a search for "ignition switch" on here and you will see lots of threads concerning this issue.

Yeah, ignition switch, my car does the same thing my heat only works on level 5. Also, no radio display, and no dic, or very dim.

Any progress to report on your problem? Anything else that is happening such as door locks cycling, horn going off, SRS light coming on, ABS light on? All of these are signs that the ignition switch is bad or going bad. It will only continue to worsen.
If you need help finding a model number for a new switch, and where to order, let me know. Also, there are step by step pictures of how to install the switch (it is not for the faint of heart)
