2001 GT2 Questions

Hello guys, I am looking at purchasing a 2001 GP GT2 with 82,000 miles on it. I am pretty knowledgeable when it comes to cars, but every car has specific issues or quirks that only enthusiasts such as yourself would know.

I am looking for tips on things to look for when I go look at / test drive this car tonight. Any info you could give me would be much appreciated.

GT2? It's just a GT...the GT1's and GT2's were a '04+ thing.

As for the test drive, check the Lim gaskets and coolnt level...missing coolant might signify bad lim gaskets (lower intake manifold)...and the transmission fluid...see if its burnt. If it is...I'd have them service it and then test drive it again...and if it acts up then the trans is toast. They are kinda known for taking a dump on people...
