• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

2000 turbo regal v.notSnowflake *now with more flames*

i like the idea of stacking 2-3 and running 6 "dumb" lsx style Coil per plug units.

full firing voltage at both banks and maybe we can run full boost at .035 gap

the transmission is mostly back together.... I cannot find my inch pound torque wrench but I'm working on that.

picked up a nice little 8 point cage....

traded the 3.29 FDR 1" GMR gears for Matt m's old set of 2.93 FDR gears

also doing my own version of the "Norris" brace
template

first test piece...it transfers the twisting forces to the reverse band pin boss and to the center channel plate support through preloadable bolts.

and on an update with the ICM stacking test subject...Cody's full boogie Nitrous Riviera...so far over 1500miles with it running both ICM's with stock L67 coils hopefully before the year is out he will see if he can run a larger gap without blowing out the spark...so far there is quite a large difference between the arc with 1 vs 2 ICM's just watching the arc across the coils secondary terminals...so id bet he will no longer have ignition issues.

some pics of his setup

here you can see his dual relay system for IGN power.
oem icm power feed just activates the first relay to feed power direct from the alternator to the ICM/Injectors (removing all the OEM voltage drop/resistance), the second relay is for switching on the 2nd ICM at 2psi...however due to a bad hobbs switch he's been running it on both constantly with no issues...the heatsinks seem to do a fine job rejecting the heat.

i just need to start cutting out the heatsink spacers and the TR's setup will be ready...to let us run bigger than .030 gap at 22psi and clean up the ****ty idle from the smaller than .045 gap it likes for a smooth idle...

Dave's brace is far stiffer and supported better. ..but we just need to make sure we're good to about 700 wheel horsepower.....I'm just hillbillying it up
