About a month ago while driving home from work on interstate (60 - 70 mph) my car jerked once like engine stutter, RPM bounced, but car never stalled. I see this stutter more often now and at all speeds. It has done it after I first cranked the car and pulled out of my driveway, and it continues to do it at higher speeds.
I've been reading posts and haven't found my exact scenario. Some say it happens only when at certain temp. Not me. Some say it happens only in certain gears. Not me. Some say it happens only when accelerating. Not me. Today I was idling in line at Taco Bell when it stuttered but car didn't stall.
I have tried the obvious, by putting in Lucas fuel additive. Maybe someone can help. My 2000 GP SE is totally stock.
