2000 Pontiac Grand Prix Amp Ground Help Please

Hello group I have a question I hooked up an am to my 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix and I used the seat belt screw as a ground but it isn't good. Where can I find a good ground near the trunk. I don't have a drill so making my own isn't an option. The amp/sub works and all but when deep bass kicks in the sub stops working only on those parts. Thanks

i got mine on the strut nut, had to put a larger eye let on the wire tho, sand the area clean and bolt it down

Thanks for replying Im very duh about cars...Where is the strut tower located?

Either side of the trunk, way back in there close to the roof of the trunk.
