2000 gtp cd changer installion

Hey, just wondering if there are any instructions as far as installing a12 cd changer (gm) in a 2000 gtp 2 door. I have a trunk mount bracket and cable. Radio is stock am/fm with cd. Thanks in advance.

The 12 disc changer will not work that radio. You need a cassette.

Is there an aftermarket radio that will allow use of the gm changer i have and keep the hud display? If so which are decent?

For the changer...highly unlikely but possible. For the HUD absolutely not. I inquired about the HUD possibility a few years ago myself. Did you get the changer hooked up?

why wont it work if you dont have the cassette ?
