2000 Grand Prix won't start, help please

Hi, I'm brand new to the forum. I have a 2000 Grand Prix GT, 3.8L V6 that won't start. I almost exclusively drive my new car so the Grand Prix has only been driven sparingly for the last 6 months (I know that this is not good for the car, but it's too late to change that). Last week I planned on driving the car and when I try to start the car the engine cranked but it would not actually turn on. I tried giving it a jump, I had the battery tested, then I replaced the battery just to be sure, and even with a new battery it won't start, so I'm pretty postive that it's not the battery. I know that it could be any number of things but I'm not sure what to check next. I'm not planning on keeping the car so I don't want to put a lot of moneyinto it. Any helpful suggestions on what to check next would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You're saying it cranks, but will not turn over, correct? My first suspicion would be crank position sensor. I would also have the fuel pressure tested to make sure your pump or fuel pressure regulator hasn't failed.
