2000 Grand Prix Tachometer/Trac Light/Stall Issues

Having this exact issue myself. Tach drops to zero, hesitates and sometimes stalls out. Any updates on these situations?

I replaced mine a couple months ago and I've had not had this problem a single time since. The only annoying part of this job was getting the harmonic balancer off. I bought an impact wrench and borrowed a good air compressor for the job and that part was easy too. See the thread - there is explanation of how to brace so you don't need a heavy duty impact wrench to do the job.
