Hi I just bought dual aeroforce interceptor scan gauges for my 2000 Grand Prix and they don't turn on when you turn the car on I guess I have to hook them up to a acessory wire in the car because of the year of my car? Well as far as I've read you use the red wire on the extra plug they give you and hook it up to an acsessory wire anyone done this? Where did you hook them exactly? Help is appreciated thanks!

Yep.

I did.

Where did you hook them exactly? Help is appreciated thanks!
I used a power drop harness to grab fused, keyed power. It's the unused plug hidden behind the glove box.

Where exactly is that hidden plug? I've looked can't find it even pulled the carpet up is it safe to run it to the radio?

Literally directly behind the glove box.

Drop the glove box past the stops, and look for a white warning tag.

I don't remember what I did on the aeroforce side. The instructions should lay it out pretty clear.

I bought the drop harness from ZZP so I could plug into the drop without cutting/splicing any factory wires. If you don't want to spring for the $10 harness, you could just tap into the 12v power wire. Don't forget to put a fuse in the slot.

Do you have a DVOM, or a 12v test light at least?

Yea I was just checking it out on zzp was going to just buy it and do it correctly on the zzp plug do you just hook the red aeroforce gauge wire up to the red wire on zzp plug? Than just tape the 2 wires off?

The tag on the harness should tell you what each wire is. I would still verify with DVOM or test light.

Grab the 12v keyed from the harness. I think I may have grabbed the ground from the harness also. It's been a while... I then taped off whatever that third wire is. 12v constant, I think?

Okay I found the plug under my glove box and just ordered the drop down harness from zzp there's no slack to really splice in I'd rather do it the right way. The aeroforce gauge instructions say hook the red wire to an acessory wire the other 2 wires on the plug for the aeroforce are for analog inputs. So on the zzp harness the 3 wires one is constant power, another is acessory power, and then a ground wire?
