sure. if you wire in the pin on the computer, and get the knob, you will have it now.

I only have a CAI for it so far, I know the DHP wouldn't give it's full potential. But would it hurt the engine to have the DHP in until I do other mods?

Not really enough to hurt it but don't try to push it without scanning it somehow first. Probably get a 180* Tstat and dont drop pulley sizes at all.
