2000 Daytona

Re: Daytona 500 NIC Cam (More Goodies!)

I'm thinking of adding Charger decals on my non-Dodge product...care to send me pics?

Re: Daytona 500 NIC Cam (More Goodies!)

You paid over a hundred bucks for that?

Re: Daytona 500 NIC Cam (More Goodies!)

nice car gets better every time. maybe when you swap over to the gen v you can beat max.

Re: Daytona 500 NIC Cam (More Goodies!)

gen v or gen III?

3.0 for sure since he will have a "legit" tune.

Re: Daytona 500 NIC Cam (More Goodies!)

He's upgrading to a GenV when he does the ported heads and E85 as I understand it.

He's just dropping on the current blower, which won't be a hassle since it is a GenIII.

Maybe see how a 3.25" does before going straight to the 3.0"? Worth a shot if someone has one lying around.

Re: Daytona 500 NIC Cam (More Goodies!)

im at 1* of KR after just the fuel pump upgrade at 3.25". got a rewire kit on the way. My motor mount are worn pretty bad, i noticed. square dog bone mounts are ripped up.

i think he can do a 3.25 knock free, then 3.0 at the biggest with e85 and heads, i would try 2.8 with those mods.

Re: Daytona 500 NIC Cam (More Goodies!)

Depending on how soon I get the ported heads/Gen V on there, I might just wait to drop sizes till all that is on. If its gonna be more than a month or so before I can do that, I'm gonna go down to a 3.25 or 3.3 depending which one I find first. On ported heads/E85/Gen V though, I'll be dropping to a 3.0 at most, depending on knock numbers.

Re: Daytona 500 NIC Cam (More Goodies!)

legit, im excited for your build. gives me something to look up to. i want to go e85 eventually.

keep up the good work man.

Re: Daytona 500 NIC Cam (More Goodies!)

I've had a few people asking me what kind of MPGs I'm seeing with the NIC cam, so here it is. Keep in mind I also don't have EGR. This number is my 75 mile drive I have from home to work, doing about 75MPH the whole time on the highway.
