2000 Daytona 500 Pacecar Decals

Would anyone object to putting the Daytona 500 Decals on a non-Daytona 500 GTP? I recently happened upon the part numbers for these decals & couldn't resist getting them simply for their incredible rarity. I'll be putting them on my black four door GTP.
 


I don't know why you would want to put decals on that don't represent what your care really is. Also if someone asks you about it you would have to lie or embarress yourself.
 
True, true. I was thinking of removing the words from the decals. Not too many ppl would know though.
 
i dont belive he's trying to pass his car off as a daytona 500. if you like the decals do its your car

Well I do have the wing & roof rails. But I am not trying to be a poser here. The only other decent checkered flag decal i've seen for a GP is from ZZPdecals.com & really, it just doesn't look as good as the Daytona decal. =]
 


Do it. Its your car. I don't see anything wrong in adding the daytona decals to your car. Post pics when you get it done.
 


Yep, only in 2-door & in Medium Gulf BLue & Galaxy Silver. The blue one didn't get much of a visual treatment though. It only the checkered flag behind the GTP eblem & a few labeled badges on the inside.
 
Eugh. Turns out these decals are four separate & expensive parts. (Ballpark around 400$) So for what I paid i sure am putting these on my car!
 
Still though, would've cost 600$ through the local Pontiac dealership. I am starting to <3 gmpartsdirect.com lol
