20" rim question???

i found some 20" rims on the internet. the rims are 20x8.5, 5x114.3 with a +32 offset. in anyones opinion, would the wheel rub??? would it stick out beyond the fender well??? how big a tire can i use??? i know the ideal offset is +38, but i am getting these wheels at and excellent price!

because of the lower offset and the width of the rim you may rub. they will not stick out of the fenders and the tire you run is really going to be the tell tale for if youre going to rub or not. you should be okay if you run a 245 wide tire, but any bigger and youre pushing your luck.

bio, the likely of it rubbing is on the strut or fender lip? i would be going with 245 tires. i also saw another set 20x8.5, 5x115, +40 offset! would this be a better option.

^no. the 32mm offset is fine! the 40 would probably make u rub on the strut, and that would be not good at all!

its hard to say on which one u will rub on! but, that 32mm offset should be okay even on a 8.5" width wheel!

you will more than likely rub the fender with those wheels at that offset, not the strut. the +40mm might work out better, but any higher than that and you run the risk of rubbing on the strut hat.

there is no 'right' size wheel. you have to choose the one you want. normally, anything beyond 8.5" wide and below +30mm offset will rub in some form.

X2 wit Bio248. the front will almost never be the problem, its the rear. depending on the wear of the rear springs, Cargo (subs) in the trunk and passengers in the rear all play parts. and be sure to get a wheel alignment cause the rear wheels tend to lean in with the more weight thats in the trunks. (+camber) otherwise u will go thru tires like crazy with the uneven tread wear
