• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Hi, this is my first post, thanks for letting me in. I used to own a '97 Grand Prix GT coupe, the first car I ever bought for myself, brand new, it was AWESOME. I eventually had to trade it in for something bigger when I got a family of my own ('99 Chevy Tahoe LT).

Recently on a family vacation the rental I chose was a very newer Grand Prix sadan, again AWESOME. My vehicle at home is a '00 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo so driving the car around FL brought me back. The accelleration, the handling, the speed, the comfort was great. Sure made me miss owning a Grand Prix. My dad own a late 70's Grand Prix so I've loved them since I was a little kid, I'm now 32. Main reason I haven't gone back to one is because of these Iowa winters. Even though my '97 got me through a few IA winters just fine, now that I have wife and kids I don't want to take the chance to get stuck or worse an accident. Obviously the gas mileage makes me want to get one again, but then I think about November through March and I think again.

So all of you that own a Grand Prix you're lucky.
