1999 Regal GS Turbo failure...

Re: 1999 Regal GS Turbo

Well congrats on being able to play the smallest banjo lmao
what im saying though , is I'm waiting for e85 too. So letting OP know not to be discouraged as its really not a game-ender for his build.
Im actually pretty excited to try it out myself, but I'm not the only one who drives my car at times so hopefully a few more spots pop up

Re: 1999 Regal GS Turbo

yeah I also hear about people making 500+whp with a full boogie h/c/ic m90 setup. I take everything with a block of salt

don't lie, youll puss out the first time you lose a few drops into yer drawers when you hammer it
didnt think you could make 500+ whp on an m90.

I have about 3-5 stations within 20 mile of me. Its a pain to find when im out and about but my solution to that is fill up when im near a half tank.

Re: 1999 Regal GS Turbo

And my pump 93 range is bad as it is , what would e85 get me? 150 miles to the tank? Dunno?

Re: 1999 Regal GS Turbo

I get about 20.5 mpg give or take so about 210 miles before it goes to the low fuel light. I figured the mpg out by zeroing the trip meter on fill up. So its not bad at all.

Re: 1999 Regal GS Turbo

Ya same 180-210

Straight driving maybe 260-280 non stop on road trips. that was with my s1x and l67

ill see how the brand new l26 and s3 cam perform.

I still think when I first got my car stock except for 3.4 / DHP tune / downpipe I was in the 300s

funny mine reads 14's or less and i get around 200 or so a tank too. iv done real math for the mpg, all local was closer to 10 :th_thumb-down:

Re: 1999 Regal GS Turbo

Thats odd, my gauge must be calibrated for gas or something then. Oh well. Ive gone from putting in 40 a week to 18-25 a week in fuel due to cost so im still happy.

Re: 1999 Regal GS Turbo

i filled it up with a 20 a few weeks ago. its been parked a lot and getting great mpg the whole time lol

Re: 1999 Regal GS Turbo

10-14 in the winter was great, 16-18 summer all city.

And even when I was "modded" with headers, intake, 3.6 and a tune I could still pull 400 miles to a tank all freeway without a problem.

Re: 1999 Regal GS Turbo

I filled up a week ago and managed 330 miles to the tank with a gallon left over. It was a mix of city and highway.

Re: 1999 Regal GS Turbo

I got 18 miles per gallon on my last tank. my average miles per gallon almost always reads 1 mpg better than it actually is, and ironically, the fuel consumed is about 1 gallon off on each tank. I'm digging the low fuel costs as well.

Re: 1999 Regal GS Turbo

Depending on how the weather goes tomorrow, i may just install my coilovers now instead of in a couple months.

Re: 1999 Regal GS Turbo

Wanna get some measurements for me?

Length of both the front and rear agx and how long the shaft is for both (no homo)
