1999 grand prix wiper arm removal

How do I remove the wiper arm on a 1999 Grand Prix? I removed the nut that holds the arm in place but the arm does not come off.

pop it off nothing else is hold it.

i used a claw side of a hammer to pop them off last time out, just stay away from the windshield ive heard of people breaking them taking the wiper arms off.
