1999 Grand Prix - Fuse 37 Problem

I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix. I just recently encountered a problem with the
fuse #37 (engine compartment fuse block). This fuse controls the (chime/mall
module, Tail lamps, Parking Lamps, Side marker lamps and Dimmable Lamps
(instrument panel, shifter gear position indicator).

The fuse blows with the engine running, all lights on, after 10-15 minutes.
When I replace the fuse, it does not blow immediately, but as said after 10-15 minutes.

I have checked all bulbs, sockets and mostly all of the wires that are outside
the plastic protectors. Thinking this could also be a bad DRL Diode, I
disconnected the diode. The fuse still blew. I believe other devices in this
circuit are the headlight switch/dimmer switch, DRL Module, Daylight Sensor.

Has anyone encountered this issue and what other components could be bad? Any other helpful ideas on where to look?

Do you have water in your tail lights? My one tail use to fill almost right up to the top causing a short and blowing that fuse. Or you have a bare wire (+) touching ground.
 
Update 1999 Grand Prix - Fuse 37 Problem

Here is an update on the Fuse 37 Problem

After many hours of eliminating various devices I have narrowed it down.
With a new fuse installed. The fuse will blow when I put the car in reverse. I have completely removed the tail lamps by disconnecting the harness in the trunk, which will rule out any tail lamp/socket/ wire issues. I have removed the console so I can get to the wires and the gear position indicator socket is out and clear of any rubbing.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the backup lamp circuit.

ive this exact same issue with my 99 grand prix GTP. i have found moisture in the tail lights but after disconnecting them the fuse still blows when i go in to reverse i noticed also that during the day everything is fine the fuse blows at night. if any body has any input they can put that could get this issue resolved that would be great i work nights and i have to drive home with no tail lights due to this issue thanks in advance
