1998 gtp..?

Greetings folks. I currently have a 2000GP GT coupe. I bought it with 12K and now has 230K. Luckily I have a good mechanic where the expensive items needed were not that expensive..but that's another story.

I'm currently eyeballing a 1998 GTA with 158K with a decent price. Besides the supercharger 'chatter' that I was told was a potential problem within the GTA line, Is there any experiences or thoughts that anyone may have?

Check the underside and strut/shock towers for rust.

Also check coolant elbows and lower intake manifold gaskets.

Chatter in teh SC is typically about a $50 fix. Coupler

Also check the area under the doors. The plastic ground fx love to hide rust and rot. Then open the trunk and inspect the strut area behind the carpet there.
