I need some input on rim and tire sizing.

Im looking at Enkei PDC wheels

http://enkei.com/shop/performance/new-pdc/

I want 17x7.5 they offer they two offsets 40&50 which will look the best? Also will I need hub rings? Tire rack says these wont fit Grand Prix's that is why I need some clarification

I was wanting a touch more sidewall so I thought I would go with 235-55-17 any reason to think they would cause issues?

What do you think about these goodyears?

Price seems good to me

Any input opinions appreciated

get the +40mm offset one for sure. any reason you wouldn't want to do an 18x8 +40mm? they'll look nicer being a larger diameter.

i'd stick with the same overall rolling diameter as the stock wheels as much as you can. even a 245/45R18 is still a lot of sidewall so it shouldn't ride any worse than stock.

Thanks for the response. I have 18's now with 245/45/18 one has a small bend and they are old. I'm just trying to make the car ride nice and smooth, that is why I want to go with 17's. I think the larger side wall will help smooth out some of the road bumps around here.

Yeah I have 18x8 chrome rims 245/45/18's tires on my car they look really nice the ride sucks though. Even with new suspension it's life you can't get the best of both world's. It's either smaller not so nice looking rim with truck tires with a nice ride or a bigger rim, smaller tire with a crappy ride.
