1998 Grand Prix window problem- NOT motor or switch!

Help- my girlfriends 1998 Grand Prix 2 door coupe 3.8l V-6 has the drivers side window inoperable. Tried changing motor/regulator and switch assembly to no avail. Door locks work and passenger window all work fine but no drivers side.
(e.g. driver's side switch operates all except the drivers side window).

What else is there? Don't have a schematic to work with, switch works, motor is new... What to do, what to do...

Any electrical experts out there?

Thanks.

check fuses. i highly doubt that it would be on a different circuit than the others but its a simple place to start

Okay, frickin' problem solved. The original switch burned out on the up window switch and then the new switch, when installed, just managed to bend the exact connector tang that did the same thing! The problem mimicked itself so as to throw us all off. Upon pulling the switch out, I saw the bent tang and fixed it- Voila! :th_lightbulb:

Window is now working fine and I'm a hero (to my girlfriend, that is). :th_king-evil: Man, ya gotta be Sherlock Holmes sometimes...

Thanks for the help, guys! So far....
;)

ya i was gonna say it sounds 100% like a switch to me but you claimed it was good lol i almost said to check the connector but i figured that couldve been done when the switch was replaced
