1998 GP GT Transmission Issue

Hello all,

I've got a 1998 GP GT with about 170K miles on it. Recently, she decided to stop shifting into third and drive. I can still shift my car into reverse, first, and second gear, but that doesn't do me a whole lot of good.

From everyone I've talked to, this seems to be a somewhat common problem, but I'm really not sure what the issue is. Prior to this the transmission had not been slipping or anything of that nature.

Can anyone offer me some expertise? It'd be much appreciated.

Afraid so. That site is for Trannyman95's company triple edge performance. He has a quite a reputation in the community and I may be using him myself for my rebuild.
