you probably got the cylinders too hot and the top ring gap closed up. i swear this is why all these people chip pistons and not because of knock.

I was running about 18 to 22 pounds (mp-112 supercharger)of boost and the guys at intense racing told me I could keep the stock pistons and crank. What do they know.

sorry just edited the posting, i was using the supercharger off the ford lighting outfitted to the 3.8II with the ls2 throttle body.
