Its pretty damn small. When I feel like blowing money again ill someday probably get a ported box built for the type r off ebay. Its like 1.9 cubic feet and they are roughly $70+ but this one was $40 to my door so I couldn't complain. It will do for now.

drop the CAI, open cone is just as good.

Thinking about making a FWI. Since i have the function SD hood from PFYC, and it channels the air right to my filter, but when it rains, thats a differet story. It brings water right to my filter so my car then idles really rough until it dries out. SO im thinking about making a FWI to avoid this. Is it worth it?

might just be easier and faster to just make a rain deflector for over the filter ;)

I kinda like the look of the FWI intake though also.

Makes my car look modded(ish) but im stock.

I think quite a few people are going for that, i'd like to. but id have a late start due to, my gt is currently wrecked.and i aint gun do anything to a gt. ill wait till i get a gtp. i know i could go turbo with my gp. but i just rather have a gtp.

i thought about it. but it'll turn into a moneypit for upcoming maintenance.. so ima sell it asap. after i get it fixed and wait to save a little money. I was also thinking about getting 2 cheap gps that run.. one gt and a gtp. and going ahead and do both. I make enough money to do so. Once i get outa the gt i have right now.. its ugly :D

Modding a GTP will also be a money pit. Plus your not going to get as much gains from a Gen III or Gen V compared to a turbo. Save yourself time, money, and hassle & just turbo the gt.

dont pay attention to the peak, just the rms. i suggest anything from 600-1200rms for the type r
