Decided to paint my fuse box cover. Cleaned it real good, sanded it then put down 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint, and 1 coat of clear

Then went on the clear coat, i was going to do 2-3 coats of it but i put WAY to much clear on the first time and it ruined it :( oh well my bad

hit that clear coat with some 2500 wet sand paper, and then buff it with compound, it will lose all the orange peel, and shine like mad.

One day when i get bored ill go to a junk yard or find a parted out car on Craigslist and pick up a new Fuse Cover and redo it

Today here in lovely Michigan, the weather was 80. So i took advantage of it and gave my car a wash, just thought id through a few pictures of my car washed just because i can. Just a simple wash and it cleans up pretty good still for being 15 years old. Sometime this summer i need to get a buffer and have to go to town on polish and wax to get all the tiny little scratches out and get rid of all the swirls. Swirls dont look good. Yuck

Looking GREAT man.... I am planing on doing a DAY full of detail work this saturday if the weather is good... Wash, Claybar, Wax, Polish... WITH my buffer....

So today i took the garage, and decided to buff my whole car with ultimate compound. Really cleaned up some small scratches

And then i was going to go over my whole car with the turtle wax black wax it. i started and did just the hood until my bonnet on my buffer ripped. so now i have to stop. the hood looks great though. plus its going to rain for a few days straight so ill finish the waxing job later.

This was a real quick job though on the hood, ill go over it alot better when i pick this project back up.

The hood I just did a real quick job. Ill get more pictures when I finish. That black wax has actual black color in it,I didn't know that. It already hid some really deep scratches on my hood. Can't wait to finish this project sometime soon. Let's just hope the rain holds off

nice deep shine you got there, i may try this black wax myself, heard about it never tried it.

as you can tell from the hood, it did an amazing job. im going to do the whole car soon and ill get you more pics so you can see how good this stuff works. Hides alot of scratches
