Thanks my man.
Glad to see you finally made it onto the GP Facebook Groups
I found an aluminum 5.3 here with ~100k miles for $600.Ffdp is correct. Aluminum ls motors are expensive. Iron block is where it's at. I've got an Iron 6.0 for the camaro going to the machine shop.
The first DOHC 3800![]()
I literally pounded my head on my desk thinking it was serious.

He's been on the FB groups a lot lately, and you know what guys say they can do and have done on those groups.
I had no idea who it was and with the ridiculous crap I see from some of these idiots I just wasn't suprised to see someone say something like that. I just about went off about custom castings and grind cams and drive mechanism and then just the WHY! factor. Then was going to throw in there's already been a DOHC 3.8 back in the late 70's-80's and just gave up. I see some of the most godawful projects that look like total crap when they are finished, I don't know if they are blind or too many "Good Jobs" for mediocrity, but it's just sad.
Jeff
Um. I've been on 8 different facebook groups for years now. Not just lately lol.
You're the newcomer to these groups. Took long enough.
Lol, I meant him. Lately there's been some people saying they will do some off the wall things on the FB groups, RWD conversion, etc.
there was a dude on facebook that said he took his springs out so he could get lower. said riding on struts was a little rough, but no problems. it wouldn't surprise be if people believed him.
