Re: 1997 Black GTP, Don't Enter If You Get Butthurt.

Well.

Sold the GP and picked this up today.

2010 Malibu LTZ, fully loaded.

The tap shift on this car is garbage. After you hit the button to shift, it takes literally over a second for it to finally shift.

Oh, and I already got the windows tinted too.

Lies. I don't believe it at all. Friends or family members car.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Don't Enter If You Get Butthurt.

Don't see you getting rid of it anytime soon especially since you just spent the money fixing it.

Hiding out of sight because you're a jerk like that and want to troll everybody.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Don't Enter If You Get Butthurt.

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT.

I am trolling kids.

My car actually isn't in the background. It's gone.

My buddy just sold his GTP and financed this Malibu for $270 a month. We swapped cars for the weekend so I can tint his tail lights.

I have no problem driving this car around for the weekend.

BUT, I already tried tinting his tail lights with Rustoleum Lens Tint, and it came out like ass. So I removed it all and polished/waxed his tail lights to look like new again. I'll try again some other day with VHT. VHT > Rustoleum.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Don't Enter If You Get Butthurt.

I used the rustoleum on mine. It's a pain. And I'm pretty sure each coat is darker and a different color then the night shade

The Rustoleum SUCKS.

I cant emphasize it enough. It is not nearly as good as VHT. Lesson learned.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Don't Enter If You Get Butthurt.

I had to re-do it three times before I got it up to my standards... which still isn't good enough.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Don't Enter If You Get Butthurt.

Me too but I don't think I'll be doing that again. I think it's too harsh on the plastic.

Next time I'll probably sand it off.

What clear do you use? I also had a problem with the clear i was using.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Don't Enter If You Get Butthurt.

Ive always used VHT Niteshade w/ Duplicolor Acrylic Enamel.

Always came out great.

But not only did the Rustoleum lens tint come out bad, the clear came out nasty as well. Was not settling on the lens tint at all. Looked like a thin milky layer over the tail lights.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Don't Enter If You Get Butthurt.

Yeah I had the same experience here.

Half of my problem was the clear turning into a milky runny mess, with bubbles.
