Re: 1997 Black GTP, Gauges Complete.

Well my friends, I am leaving for a week to go on a Canada fishing trip.

While I am gone, this is great opportunity to bring my car to the shop. A few things are getting done it and on top of that, I bought 3 new parts for the car as well.

And shortly after I get back from my trip, Ill be making another big purchase for the car. Which I may have a minor boner thinking about it. :th_winking:

More updates to come, Folks.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Gauges Complete.

Finally, after 2.5 weeks, I got my car back from the shop. And all I can say, it looks outstanding.

Got the hood repainted, air dam repainted, got my gas cap rust fixed and that whole panel repainted as well. Damn, it sure does clean up good for a '97 Gee Pee. I got lucky with this car.

No more chips:

No more peeling:

Hood crack also been fixed:

Ruse, be gone:

Having this rust gone, makes 1,000,000x of a difference. Looks so much cleaner. Very glad I spent the money on getting this fixed.

Installed some lower chrome grilles as well:

Bought the Gunmetal L67 Oil cap, I think Id rather have the chrome color, so probably going to sell this one:

Also installed some Pontiac Logo lights. Can't see them at all during the day, but looks outstanding at night. Great little investment:

Finally, I do have a spare lower chrome grille left, so sometime later today I'll be cutting that up to make my Hood vent grilles. More pictures of that soon to come in the evening.
