1996 riviera with a series 2??

Is that possiblw without a sawp. Im just really wondering to make sure I can do all the good stuff series 2 guys get. I though 96 was a series one? long storey short theres no such thing a 1996 series 2 without a sawp so it will be safe to ude any aftermarket parts for a series 2 even tho it says 1997 +

Yep, 96 Riv had the Series 2 engine either in NA or Supercharged form
