• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Along the same lines as my Epic Tractor Build (which is still doing well). We have this atv for my son. Needs some love, but started to work on it a little bit. I have the starter pulled off, still have to pull the carb and tank. New pull start and necessary components came in this week, so It will be time to get it running before Winter hits. Here are a few pics of it. No part pictures as they are still in the box on my kitchen table (because that's where all atv parts go).....

So worked on the quad a little more over the weekend. Got the tank pulled and cleaned out, the starter put on and adjusted. Realized the fuel line/filter were clogged so I will need to source out those components, but it "should" run after the fuel line is taken care of. Also, one of the valve stems decided to play hide and seek inside the rim so that will need to be taken care of too. I'm getting excited to see him ride it for the first time.

This is how it sits as of today. Both back tires needs fixed and the carb was taken off to be cleaned since it still isn't getting any gas. It did however run for a few seconds after we poured gas into the head. After getting the carb cleaned, it should run.

Well, the bike has sat like this since that post. School, work and life have put this project on hold. I did however manage to get the rear tires and tubes replaced this week. $80 for this. I've got more in the bike than its worth, but if it brings a smile to my kids, it's worth it. I finish up school in 3 weeks, so the carb will get cleaned and the bike will be put back together. Roughly id say 5 weeks before its done. Baby #3 will be born on the 22nd of May, so my time once again will vanish. Long term plans will be to break it back down in the winter to remove all the surface rust and paint the frame and wheels too.
