Can anyone tell me how to remove the shift knob from a floor mounted automatic 1970 Pontiac Grand Prix?
 


theres a spring loaded arm that holds the center part in, jiggle that around to remove it, and then theres a C shaped clip that holds the outer know to the lever.

I'm having the same problem getting shift button / knob removed from a 1970 GP. Does anyone have a little more detailed response to the procedure?
