Just picked up an original body panel 1963 Grand Prix, 389ci Tri-Power automatic with bucket seats and 8-lug wheels. The original owner only had the Grand Prix for four months when he took it back to the dealership and had them swap out the tri-power setup for a four barrel. Original tri-power setup is all there including the dual snorkel 3-bbl air cleaner. Was hoping that someone here could educate me on the rarity of this '63 GP as well as the correct casting numbers for the engine components as well as the transmission and rear axle. I am always trying to absorb information on particular classic/muscle cars and these forums seem to be where all of the knowledge is at.
