16 Inch Rim Options

Not planning to upgrade anytime soon, but what are my options for selecting an aesthetically pleasing set of rims without increasing unsprung weight or changing stock dimensions --> (225/60 R16 98T tires just put on)

Pre-gens dude! they looks sweet on the 97-03 wbodies

iirc tq stars are some of the lightest oem wheels for the 2nd gen, lighter than the 1st gen "pontiac 5 spoke"

I've had both T-stars and pre-gen rims on my old car. I think I weighed them both and T-stars were around 16-18lbs and the pre-gens were maybe 1 lb more because of the thicker spokes. I have a spare pre-gen rim in the garage but I'm too lazy to go weigh it again.

I couldn't exactly color match... but I'm proud to have avoided rim rash after 17 years. Stock matches well, but thanks for advising pregen. Do companies like BBS, Konig, Work, Enkei etc. have any options?

What size tire are you running?

The factory 225/60/16 size.

Those were Cooper CS4's, a now discontinued tire option. They seemed to be a wider 225 option if that makes sense, not all 225's are "exactly" the same and don't all look the same on every rim.

Welcome sir. And to answer your original question, either stick with you tstars or go with pregens if you want to stick with 16s, otherwise any after market wheel wouldn't look quite right with all that rubber on it. Go with a 17 or 18" wheel if you want aftermarket.

Pregens are the way to go! I went with a 245/50/16 gives it I nice stance
