12v remote factory 2005 monsoon

I have been searching and cant seem to find a correct answer...i need a 12v remote for my jl amp with the factory monsoon audio...ive seen pink wire, purple, blue, blue with white line??? i connected to purple in harness going into monsoon amp...nothing...is there a way ?

i have viewed that link, it says pink, then next post its say purple, where is that harness located?

So you just need a 12V remote that will tell the subwoofer to turn on and off correct?

connector c3 on monsoon amp pin 6 purple wire is the wire you are looking for

My mistake what you need is pin A3 on C2 which should be purple . C2 is the larger plug on that amp. I was looking at an 06 monsoon amp and you have an 05, according to service manual they are different.

yes it is different, mine is the pink one on the smaller connector to the amp.
