12 rotor up grade

ok so i found by using oldsmobile intrigue parts ( they made a model with 12" rotors standard) that i can up grade my rotors to 12 inch.for 150$ as opposed to zzp's 250$ will i see a big difference just from the rotor size i dont want to spend the dough to get f-body calipers and i just want to make sure if im gonna pony up the dough im gonna feel a big stopping difference..should i use semi mettalic or ceramic pads too?
 


the 12' upgrade makes a huge difference, you are gaining leverage by moving the caliper away from the center if the wheel..... you will notice it for sure
 
i have this same issue.. i need brakes and i wanted the fbody calipers but its so much money. i might just have to get 12 inch rotors
 
i got my 12" rotor setup (calipers, rotors, and pads) for under $100. i was happy. :D

it really fills out the front wheels too. stopping is awesome with them compared to stock.
 
got the rotors and caliper brackets for like $50 shipped used (ever so slightly) and then some nice EBC green pads for cheap too.
 


alright cool i found the whole setup with duralast cmax ceramics for like 110$ shipped on rockauto...should i run ceramics or semi metallics what are you guys running
