Hey guys just recently i switched to e85 and also changed some transmission tune but since then completely random ill get -10* of timing it happens in a blink of an eye and then instantly goes away. There is no kr and it seems to usually happen right before a shift. I have never seen - timing and have no idea how it happened and how i fix it.

It's a torque mngt setting, likely something to do with an abuse table or similar.

Looks like it's happening as the rpm's fall during the shift and waiting for the next gear to grab. I wouldn't even worry about it, you are not losing power nor does it matter that it happens.

Everything seems in order as far as your mods. Sometimes you'll get KR spikes on shifts due to the vibration is causes. It may be happening quick enough that your scanner isn't even reporting it. You might just want to check your lower mounts and make sure that they're still good.

Ya all my mounts are good i know its not kr but i believe its what five finger said. My original can tune had all of torque management tables 0 out. I found a zzp tune and imported the whole zzp torque management folder and that is when it started. I do lose power as well i get a very sudden fast jerk that lasts like .001 seconds

Look for tables similar to Spark retard vs torque reduction and gear abuse timing settings. See if any are removing timing or have a low set number.

I set the minimum gear abuse spark timing to 0º and you can reduce the spark retard torque reduction to a lower percent value to have it pull less timing. These names are what HP Tuners uses, not even sure if DHP used the name wording.

^^^THIS!!!

My 98 GTP does the same thing. Its torque management. Leave it on unless you want to buy a new trans eventually. LOL!

Youre good. Dont sweat it!
