i have the option to get 105 springs and 90 springs....SDD recommended 105's because they are easier on the timing dampener.....what do you think....i think im going 105's just wanna see what your guys opinion is....
105s are better than 90s, but get crow cams. if i were you i would run 130s and rev the **** out of it.
Realistically how far could you take it?
as far as how high can you rev it until you destroy a rod? probably about 6800-7000, but i would probably only take it to 6500 or so. at shifts it would drop back down in the powerband which is what would make the difference.
Here's the thing on the comp springs. Comp moved production to Mexico and things started breaking. As long as they are preMexico you are all set.
I have a set of preMexico's here. It's all good.
I am about to be selling my 1.9 Rockers... I have been running 1.9's and #105 comp cam springs for like 30k with no issues.
