don't mean to thread jack but, while were on the subject would L76 springs be sufficient for an s1x cam? I keep hearing comp cam's 105#'s are garbage and break all the time.

get a set of crow cams springs from intense. ive got their 130# springs waiting in my tool box for my cam setup.

Not really, it's got too much lift. The L76 springs are only going to be good for high ratio rockers with the stock cam or with a small cam like the VS. They might work on the S1X, but it would be pushing them beyond spec.
