Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

So I went to the test and tune at numidia raceway on saturday and my best run was a 14.504 I had 0 - 2* of knock. Couldnt get any traction for the life of me, i was on horrible street tires. I think with better traction i could get down to a 14.0
I'll have more details from the timeslips later they are in my car. I got 7 runs in. They were all 14.6's or 14.5's

my mods are
3.4 Pulley
SD headers
Intense Tune
180 Tstat
Intake

Yeah sounds like your launching needs alot of work. I was pulling 2.0xx 60's with same mods minus headers (downpipe instead), and running 14.3's on worn out street tires.

2.1 to 2.2 shouldn't be a problem.

well it rained the previous night and the track was stilll a little damp so idk. my tires are bald as **** too. But my 60' were like 2.2 2.3

when i launched i held the brake and brought the rpms to like 2,000

Honestly my best times when I was on the stock trans were just from idle. From everything I've seen the stock trans and stall don't like being held like that. Even with my setup now I still only bring it up to maybe 1,700 to 2,000.

That's what I was running when I first got my 3.6 Gen V setup. I got some poly mounts and magically got down to 14.0 last Saturday. I didn't even have good 60's, between 2.2-2.3 all night.

Did you take your spare tire, jack etc out? Did you lower your front tire pressure to 25psi? Did you take your headlight out? Did you stay out of the burnout water since you have street tires?

Not really any reason that I've seen to lower psi on street tires. Best 60 foots I've cut with street tires were on normal psi, even on my old LS1 6speed Formula.

Street tires need to be left alone...not warmed up..."cleaned off"...or have the pressure dropped.

If you want to do those things, buy slicks or DR's...because that is what they are made for.

FWIW, my buddy ran a 13.9 with no headers and a 3" DP/Cutout instead...and a built trans with 3.29's. SO see...go learn to launch your car and go on a dry cold night ;)

lower your tire pressure, i hit 1.9 60' with 20psi on ****ty worn street tires

btw lol im looking at ur promo video spoof

Doing a quick chirp of the tires in my 86 IROC proves highly effective. It's more of a car by car basis as to what works and what doesn't. If I do a quick little tiny baby burnout (1-2 seconds at most) on my IROC, I can count on a 60' at 1.9 flat. If I don't do it, I have found that my 60' times are consistently longer, on the order of 2.00-2.05. Cleaning the crud off my softer compound street tires that is picked up at the end of the track is essential to me.

I guess my advice to people is this: Hit the track, find out what helps and what doesn't. Only way to find out is actually trying it yourself in your car. You can read all you want about what works for others, but until you get the seat time, you won't know if it works for you, too. Don't be a sheep, be a pioneer.
