• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

08 maxima's

Wasn't labeling GP owners as hick - I am stating there is a significant potential. Nothing can discredit a car anymore than hickism, IMO.

Trucks, for example. I LOVE trucks - but there is a very fine line when it comes to truck. It looks nice, but just the wrong mod (especially in appearance) makes it all too clear you voted for Bush...

You're real shallow, aren't you?

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you heard it here. What you drive says everything about you. I drive an Impala, therefore I should get a senior citizen discount automatically, right? :th_shakinghead2:

^5......... and that photoshop thing u did with engine and hood looks pretty cool :th_thumbsup-wink:

Or you buffed it too much.

FYI - I see just as many senior citizens driving GP's just like mine as I see them driving Impalas.

Older women love GP's.:th_sign-banme:

no ban! u crack me up :D its a car anyone can drive what they want this is america...most newer corvettes i see have mid 50's to 60 yr old men driving them...does that mean corvettes are only owned by older ppl?

that is the case with many nice cars. Some of the nicest mustangs are driven by the retired among us. - I guess because they can afford it now.

Never mind me. I'm angry at the GP right now. She needs some work. Intermediate steering shaft issues and the outer tie rod ends are shot. Just angers me because we haven't even reached 50,000 miles. But... She redeems herself from time to time.

I have to say one thing off topic. Chevy Silverados haul A$$. One tried to take me on the highway the other day - and he almost did for a second... That makes me want a GXP just for that 5.3.

dont g8's have 6.2 and 6.0?

I love the new Maximas. I used to own a '99 and was a member of a Maxima forum. You wouldn't believe how some of these cars are set up. The previous owner of mine had done a lot of work on it and had nitros hooked up on it. I hear it would fly....I dunno.

I really liked it when I first test drove it. The guy I bought it from continued to part it out once I had agreed to buy it, without my knowledge. I knew the first time I drove it, after he delivered it to me, that something wasn't right. I kept it for a year and sold it to a policeman near Fort Meade, Maryland (he works in D.C) in early February. It had an issue that no one could seem to resolve.

Yeah it did suck! I fell in love with the Maxima when my ex had a '97 SE. I always wanted one after that. Mine was pretty nice. I only had one complaint about it really. It had an idling issue. Once it got below 70 degrees outside, and you would put the car in park or just stop at a stoplight, etc, the RPM's would rev up and stay at about 2500 to 3000. Could never resolve it. I changed out the air intake, throttle position sensor, cleaned the throttle body, etc. Nothing worked. Only warm weather.
