08 maxima's

Me and my friend were at the stealership yesturday and i was looking at the 08 maxima's they look reallly nice, i was looking at the top of the line maxima and they wanted 38k for it but inside looked verry nice. I can't belive their pumping out 290hp out of the 3.5 dohc v6 verrry nice, I'll take a test drive sometime.
 


there pretty quick. i raced a brand new one, pulled him slightly in first, then he pulled back, then it was pretty even. my friends mom also had a top of the line 2004 and it was pretty damn nice. deff bad ass cars.
 
nissan has really been stepping it up over the past few years. their cars are very high quality.

still won't own one.
 
I was deciding between an 04 maxima or 04 gtp but the maximas couldn't touch the price i got the gtp for.
 
i think 39k is alot for a nissan but i havent driven one yet and the interior looks like really high quality. I'm just verrry impressed with their engineering of the 3.5 dohc, It produces 290hp which is reallly good for a n/a v6
 


I would take a broken Maxima over a camaro... Camaros scream hick. Lets face it, Grand Prix Scream Hick as well... I love mine... but a Maxima or an Altima Coupe will be my next car.

Ewwwwww. All I can say is those will NOT be my next car. Sorry, but they don't do it for me. I don't care how much power they have. I just don't think there good taste, to each there own though I guess...

Really? With that comment I definatly learned something about you... You have absolutely no taste for cars at all. Hick cars huh? Wow, thats something else. Why are you a member here again? Probably another rice boy here to start ****.

So whats an average Nissan driver I wonder? A nerd that doesn't know a god damn thing about cars but is book smart? I assume thats what you are? Sell the GP to a real person, we don't need any unmechanical nerds around here....

Just saying it like it is. I can't believe how stupid some people are. You join a group who likes a certain car, then you bash it like you were on some Misc forum? How stupid can you be?

I love my GP like hell. Best car I have ever owned to be perfectly honest. But GP's do have a tendency to be hick, depending on how you make it. - I'm admitting it 100% - I don't love my GP any less. Like I said, best car I've owned to date.

Whats the average GP owner?

Well, like myself, they are people who frequently use their warranty during the first 36,000 miles that the darn thing is good for - and then, like myself, they are the nerds who are taking care of the constant little failures that happen with these cars. If I wasn't a huge fan of GP's, do you think I would put up with the poor quality of General Motors? Nope. But because I love the car, I'm willing to make that sacrifice. Plus, all tiny failures aside, you can't beat the supercharged 3800 in overall quality, IMO.

Wasn't labeling GP owners as hick - I am stating there is a significant potential. Nothing can discredit a car anymore than hickism, IMO.

Trucks, for example. I LOVE trucks - but there is a very fine line when it comes to truck. It looks nice, but just the wrong mod (especially in appearance) makes it all too clear you voted for Bush...
