08 g8 gxp vs 04 gp gtp compg



Not saying it isn't possible...just saying I've never seen it or heard about it...even modded fastest I've seen is 13.86 and that was CAI/Cutout/Tuned/LSx Rockers...but idk...
 
Well its RARE for sure takes good tires/driver. Fastest LS4 powered car that i know about is a cartuning's turboed Monte SS running 11.49.

My DA corrected time for my best run is a 13.73. But i have Tune, Cutout, CAI. And honestly i dont know if i could run that time at sea level since i dont have a problem launching at 5000+ foot here in colorado. where as at sea level id have to worry about a good launch to duplicate that time.

Actually...a good race you be a bolt-ons GTP vs. a GXP Grand Prix...the G8 GT ran 13's...no WAY a GXP could touch 13's stock ;)

sometimes on auto trader they make mistakes posting. my boyfriend bought a brand new fully loaded 2006 silverado diesel for 30000 because the idiots wrote 30 instead of 50 and they had to sell it to him for it.
 


That's the one I want. The gt, the inbetween model. Its 360 something hp, I think the base model has 303, and the gxp has 415 or something like that.
So that's what I'm going to be looking for in a about a year is the gt.
 
mom has the base G8 could have got the GT model for the same price but thats to much power and not enough mpg for her i was kinda mad, anyhow only drove the G8 once it set her back when i wasn't trying but she never uses 1st gear so... ya long time before i get to drive that again
 
I promise you that within 2 years those cars would be going for about 14-16 easy with under 20 on them they look really mean i like them but i would love to have a sonic blue goat 06 6 speed with blue interior i seen one of those for 16,000 with 20,000 on the dash. its a shame thAT THE CUt pontiac I always thought that the made the best models because i will take a 02 trans am ws6 over a 02 camaro ss any day. i also thank that that the gtp is the best w body beside the gs regal.
 


so i guess me and T are going to hunt for used g8 gt's in a couple years...they are bad cars..i love them! look better than the gto's when they came out. they are the holden commodores right? those are bad cars too...just in america now...
