07 Tundra (Video)

Not that I care, because Toyota Sucks... But
5.7 with tow package is 4.30, without is 4.10
4.6 with tow package is 4.10, 3.90 without

Did I mention they suck?

I know I can beat this tundra, my car is not even close to be running normal. I will get mods after I get the car running good. And the BMW is 328XI or some chit like that, lol he bought an air intake and it said to gain 40 HP. he's sold to that 40 HP gain, nothing won't convince otherwise. Lawl.

F*cking stance nation....european ricers that lot.

Seen tundras running 14.2@around 98 mph. Dont think a near stock GTP is gona take one

Maybe, and I mean maybe a regular cab short bed 4wd on some perfect air sea level track. Otherwise...... pass.

The average Tundra crew cab or extended cab that 90% of owners buy are a high 14 second and low 15 second truck. Coincidentally that's still about all a GTP can do stock anyhow, or slower, lol.

I like that this "kill" forum is actually somewhat realistic. I don't even venture on the GM truck boards anymore to their kill sections. The 6.2 extended and crew cab 4X4's stock can beat 5th Gen SS Camaro's don't you know....... even though the trucks are high 15 second turds ( I have driven and tried 4 of them, lol).

Yeah, like the guy over at SSS.com swearing his '03 AWD 6.0 with bolt ons smoked a T/C Cobalt SS. :th_laugh-pointup:

Yeah those trucks are a blistering 16 second ride stock..... lol. Performancetrucks.net, afterwards you will swear that a 5.3 extended cab 4X4 is enough for most performance cars and the 6.2 trucks are Z06 territory. Good for a laugh until you start to realize the clowns honestly think their heaps are actually that fast

Sounds a lot like GPF...

I get a lot of "You don't know what an LQ9 is capable of..." blah blah...

I reply, "You're right, only I know this one on a 150 wet shot isn't faster than an SS/TC, guess I bought a lemon. "

What........ the Mustang and Camaro kills against drivers that weren't racing? Naw....... they're aren't any of those, lol. It's just the truck ones get really pathetic really fast.

And hey now, an LQ9 is capable of a lot, it just needs ported 243 heads, cam, TBSS intake, long tubes, tuning and a 94 reg cab s/b 2wd truck that weighs around 3900 lbs. Problem solved! Oh wait, but that's not a stock SS or Vortec Max now is it?

But it's an LQ9..... well sortof, the bottom end is.

Nice looking truck. I was looking at those and 06/07 Classic Max's and 05-07 Classic Denali pickups before I bought my Comp G. People have unrealistic expectation of value on those trucks..... and i'm cheap to start with. The car is a better bomber anyhow, and really I already have 2 trucks, I don't need another one.

I hear that... I've had this one for many moons, and it's primarily a tow pig and driveway clogging device. It's plenty spunky for what it is, thumbs it's nose at snow and ice on ski retreats, and best of all, gets 12MPG, no matter what you do with it. I've come to realize, no matter what I leave the house in, someone, somewhere along the way has to wow me with their incredible freakish factory effort which defies all the laws of physics and established performance data. The red brick went 13.9 on a 150 shot, and afterward, I overheard someone say his CCSB V-Max went 13.6 bone stock. *sigh* The worse part was the 3 or 4 people who believed that crap.

Lol to that. Much like a "kill" against a Gen 5 rag top SS Camaro ( L99) car with a 2010 or 11 crew cab LTZ 4X4 6.2 GM truck I remember well. He even videoed the whole thing. The truck has a tune and muffler cut off. It just absolutely destroys this Camaro because he pulls miles on this car( although the video quality is terrible enough you can't tell what he is up against in truth) and he goes on about how the truck runs 13's ( never been on a 1/4 mile track) and blah blah blah.

And pretty well 20 some other posters beyond me ate it up and believed every single word he wrote.

I really don't participate much on forums anymore because people are a lot more truthful and less cocky when you talk to them in person.

Now I'm contemplating my last post, and instead sell the 04 GTP to my girlfriend, sell her 02 GTP and buy another low mile really cheap 06 1500HD I found!

Decisions decisions.

Agreed! The truck I found was a bust, it was too perfect and far to cheap. Reason being, it's a 2wd! The 1500HD uses the same hubs and torsion bar front end no matter if 4X4 or 2wd so the ride height is the same. Would have been frustrating to spend $250 on a flight to go get it, jump in, not the 4X4 buttons and have to fly home. Oh well, I will find another one and simply continue to look for a cheap one like my 05 was.

They're out there, only the prices as you said are holding higher than a buyer would like. The '05-'06 SSS 2WD trucks seem to be tanking faster than the AWD versions, and obviously offer the 80E and 9.5" rear like the 1500 HD... At one point I had almost wished mine was 2WD, but wet grass at the track, or snow on the Mountain changed that- Oh, and WOT Launches in the rain are amusing too... ;)

Oh, Toyota- LOL. I almost forgot. They suck.

We are 2555 miles apart, and mostly north but some west. 4X4 is a must for my lifestyle, and to use this second truck ultimately as a back up for the 05. I contract my truck so I need it daily and if it fails it would be nice to have a backup plan beyond hoping I can get a rental or a company one in situ. Last year the road to my house for probably 5 days had snow that was deeper than the hood line on my old 9C1 1996 Caprice. That old beast did valiantly with snow tires and a new LSD but unfortunately it too was overcome. It's why this particular 06 with only 40000 miles on it and being a loaded cloth truck was $13k and not selling. No one wants a 2wd pickup for a year round cruiser. 4X4's are up near $20K for the same thing..... but I picked up my 05 ( mostly loaded cloth 05 1500HD 4X4) for $15K with 55000 miles on it. I will find another similarily priced ( people do realize after 6 months at $20K and still for sale no one wants it) it just takes time.

And Toyota's, well um.... yeah they suck ( but really I don't actually hate them, lol)
