07 prix gt pcm swap. Need info

I have a 07 grand prix gt s/c and there is nothing out there for tuning... There is however tuners for the 04&05 gtps. Can I take a computer from a 04&05 and safely put it in my 07? Is there any side effects? Any problems? Will it be just a plug and play swap? I just want to be able to tune my car because I'm doing a lot of mods to it and its pretty much pointless unless I have a tune...

You will have a backwards fuel gauge. One company that I know of that has figured out how to fix that is :: Overkill Motorsports ::

Is that the only bad? Or is there any long term problems?

Pull out your PCM and look at the underside. If it says Delphi on it, buy from overkill. Your fuel gauge will read accurately and from what I hear you'll love your car a lot more than you did before
