07 gxp with nav mp3 problems

Hi, I picked up a used 2007 GXP with the nav package. Great Car. Minor headache - when playing a cd with mp3 recorded most times the player does not see all the tracks or folders. When the disc is in my honda civic with nav theres is no problem. anyone else have this?
