07 gxp trans question

my gxp trans is acting funny (or so i think.) when slowing down to a stop it feels like when your driving a automatic and you downshift it into 1st/lo gear at too high of a speed and kinda slams 1st gear. it wont do it all the time and it will do it different every time (somtimes its harsher than others.) does this seem like a problem or am i just over reacting? its still under warranty but i just want to know so i dont seem like an idiot

i mean its still got 48k of warranty left so im not too worried. luckally for me the gmc/buick dealer by me is really good but i dnt really want to go in there and find out nothings wrong if that makes sense

The GXP's go thru trannies like nothing. It is on its way out. Mine did the same thing, then I lost 2nd gear, then the torque converter went. Just had it replaced under warranty.
The torque converter is on a 5 week back order so my dealer told GM that I did not want to wait that long so I got a whole new tranny instead of a rebuild :). Just an FYI.

Is that because the ancient 4t65e was nvr intended to be used on Supercharged or V8 applications? Hmm. . .

well i just got it back from the dealer. they replarced a servo, solonoid and r&r the valve body. its all good now
