Even with clear, my tails faded a bit on the top most corner of where they get the highest amount of perpendicular sunlight

sorry marines.. no pics today.. got busy this afternoon with seeding soybeans. tomorrow i'll get some in.

Put in new tie rods and a drivers side wheel bearing and cam bolts will be put in tomorrow and finally an alignment..

they were tinted with a light tint with VHT.. but that was not even a year ago and you can see that it's not there any more really.. i'm planning on redoing them though and clear coating and the whole 10 yards with them. and i'm getting an overlay for the 3rd brake too... so it'll be blacked out pretty nice by the end of the summer of even before.

so after being gone for 3 weeks commercial salmon fishing... i have to say.. hardly any money was made. :( there wasn't a very big run of salmon where i was at. all the mod's i had in mind to do is gonna be going very slowly again. :( i'm back in communication though

so today the whore got a little scar on her.

driver side rear door..

so here's what happened... today i put in front brakes and rotors in the car and changed oil. i was in a rush and some how got one of the brake pads in backwards. (i know.. dumb ass)... i got just down the drive way and turned around cause it just wasn't braking right obviously. pulled the front left tire off again and of course... the inside brake pad was in backwards.. good think i only went down the road a little ways. and by this time.. i was completely drenched in sweat from working in the shop doing brakes and then working outside.. so i go to back off the shop pad and there were some old pole shed posts along the road and i was rushed and kinda forgot one stuck out into the road a little far and has a rod in the end of it used as an anchor for the post.. and yep.. the car found it.. that pic was the one of the 3 marks it made. that one was the worse and deepest though. it scratched the front side of the skirt and the back side of the back skirt but should be able to buff them out i think. to fix all 3 it'd cost me 1800 at ABRA to do all 3. which.. insurance might just be getting a call and seeing what they can do. pay my 500 bucks deductible.. but still that's too much. might just get a filler pen or whatever they are and just fill it in just to cover it up.

or does anyone else have any ideas as to what i should do?

Can you catch the scratch with your nail? That'll tell if its through the clear coat or not. If it isn't you can compound/polish it out or wetsand it.
